BSJ2009

The Office of Catholic Schools is encouraging the development of a Board of Specified Jurisdiction (BSJ) as a new governance model for St. Therese elementary parish school. A BSJ recognizes the expertise of lay members while broadening school support. It has authority delegated by the Superintendent in areas like vision, development, finances, and marketing. The Board would be composed of 11-21 Catholic members with skills like parishioners, alumni, neighborhood leaders, and parents. Applications are available through the school office and parish website for those interested in the important service.
