Work Instructions of coping 1. The Chimney portions are to be neatly cleaned to remove any soil or dust accumulated on them.

2. Chipping the top surface of the chimney is to be done before placing the concrete. 3. M20 concrete with 12.5 mm coarse aggregate must be used for coping activity. 4. The coping shall be up to 50 mm above the chimney & must be below the joint between bottom bracing & the leg members 5. Concreted chimneys and their copings must be good shaped, so that the rain water will drip down. 6. The coping should be properly cured by using gunny bags.
