Passover Dates and Structure Overview

Passover is considered the first of the Jewish holidays listed in the Torah. The seven days of Passover set the pattern for the entire holiday structure. This presentation attributes the pattern to Rabbi Yosef Karo, using an alphanumeric cipher called Atbash to show how each of the major holidays corresponds to one of the seven days of Passover. The only exception was the seventh day, until 1948 when Israeli Independence Day was discovered to fit the pattern.
