Linear Regression Project Rubric

This rubric evaluates a linear regression project on three criteria: graphing and data presentation, analysis, and overall appearance. The graphing section awards points for correctly labeling a scatter plot of the data, identifying measures of central tendency of both variables, selecting two points for the line of best fit, graphing the line of best fit, and extrapolating a variable to a future value. Analysis points are given for observations on the data correlation, stating the Pearson correlation coefficient, and discussing ways to improve the project. Overall appearance is also considered. The maximum total score is 75 points.
