Med Order Entry, Verification, and Resolution Validate the workflows for both physician and pharmacist order entry, modification to current orders, and the pharmacist workflow for resolving and verifying orders.

Dispensing

Validate dispensing workflows, including first doses, PRN doses, controlled substances, continuous medications, variable-rate infusions, and cart dispensing.
Validate workflows for ordering special types of medications. Make strategy decisions for the following content: tapers, boluses and drips, IV/PO panels, titrations, PCAs, and conditional medication orders.

Specialty Med Ordering Immunization Ordering Clinical Monitoring

Discuss immunization workflows as they relate to your organization. Solidify decisions regarding how immunizations will be built, placed, and administered. Validate pharmacist documentation in the patient's chart, pharmacist monitoring tools, consultation requests, and notification to alert pharmacists of significant patient changes.

Investigational Discuss investigational medication workflows. Solidify decisions regarding how Medications investigational medication orders will be built, placed and charged. TPN Ordering and Dispensing Insulin Ordering and Dispensing Inpatient Pharmacy Reporting Discuss TPN medication workflows. Solidify decisions regarding how TPN medication orders will be built, placed and charged. Discuss insulin workflows. Solidify decisions regarding how insulin medication orders will be built, placed and charged.

Validate the reports built in Epic and determine if those reports will meet the needs of your workflows.
