ERKE Group, Vibratory Hammer PTC 32HFV Driving Casings To Reinforce Bridge Piers Russia

The PTC 32HFV Vibrodriver was used to drive 12m long casings near the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia. The 32HFV was equipped with new variable moment technology, allowing resonance-free operation and vibration amplitude adjustment. It was mounted on a pontoon crane barge to drive 810mm diameter casings up to 12m deep into the Neva riverbed to reinforce existing bridge piers in front of the museum. The 32HFV was powered by a 650CO Power pack equipped with an Ecomode system.

PTC - Job report - Free hanging piling

The 32HFV driving 12m long casings near the Hermitage Museum, Russia.
The deep foundation specialist, Radpol, bought a PTC 32HFV Vibrodriver to work resonance-free in the historical centre of St. Petersburg near the State Hermitage Museum.
The 32HFV Vibrodriver is equipped with PTCs new generation of variable moment technology, which allows a resonance-free start up and stop down and an adjustement of the vibration amplitude at any time. Thanks to the midnight sun of St. Petersburgs white nights, the 32HFV Vibrodriver could work on late shift. The job required the driving of 810mm diameter casings up to 12m deep into the Neva riverbed, to reinforce the existing piers of the Bridge in front of the museum. To do this work, the Vibrodriver was mounted free hanging on the pontoon crane of the barge, and was powered by a Power pack PTC 650CO (403 kW), equipped with Ecomode system.
