Students write their own plans in handout (5mins) Production (Include time needed for each item) 1. Pair: Students ask partners about their plans (5mins) 2. Group of 4: Students tell other members about their partners plans (7 mins) 3. Whole class: One student in each group summarizes what they talked in group (5mins)

T explains the form and meaning of be going to (be going to + base verb, future plan). Ss repeat the sentences after T. 3. <3mins> T wrote a model dialogue on the board (A: What are you going to do during summer vacation? B: Im going to buy a new computer. A: Thats great!) . Ss repeat the sentences after T. Ss read the sentences with S seated next to. Practice 1. <5mins> T distributes a handout to Ss. Ss repeat the phrases in warm-up and the dialogue after T. 2. <5mins> Ss write their plans in the handout. T checks if the form of be going to is correct in their writing and answer questions. Production 1. <5mins> Pair work: Ss make pairs with S seated next to. Ss ask a partner about plans for summer using the model dialogue. Ss ask a question using WH words. Ss write the partners answer in the handout. T checks the activity and answers questions. 2. <7mins> Group work: Ss make a group of four. Ss tell their partners plans to other members (She/ He is going to ~). Ss write the information in the handout.
