healthy subsistence, ones healthcare plans are of crucial importance. Many survey-takers have shown dismay towards the current system: Americas healthcare is overpriced and subpar. However, Obamacare has become a huge flop thanks to technical issues, and even if it had succeeded, it wouldnt have solved the problem completely. Another participant of the Pajama Partys survey took a slightly different approach, voicing: The Affordable Care Act needs to be stronger; it needs to be how it originally was, not how it has continuously been changed. As of now, The Daily Jammie concludes that Americans are at a discord on what sort of healthcare system should be put in place throughout the nation. The fourth and final issue The Daily Jammie will be analyzing is Americans stance on alternative energy and green technology. With the United States current importation of large amounts of oil, we have not only become an incredibly oildependent nation, but also a country that greatly contributes to pollution. Many avid supporters of alternative energy sources have come forward in recent years to voice their support for a greener nation. One proponent of green technology commented in the survey: It is very important that a sizable portion of our budget goes to fund research of alternative energy sources. We need to become more selfdependent and not rely so much on foreign oil. Also we need to find sources that are better for the environment so that we have a healthy world that our grandchildren can live in. In years to come, it seems that America will shift its energy reliance to sources that are healthier for both humans and our surroundings, making for a more energy efficient nation. By Katherine Wang
The current election cycle is coming to a close and preliminary polls show an overwhelming favorable response towards the Pajama Party candidate, Katherine Wang. However, many people are still questioning whether or not the pajamas will be a cozy fit. People that oppose the Pajama Party claim that the image they are presenting is a tired and worn out country. Contrary to this, Katherine Wang and her campaign staff have been diligently promoting a well-rested America that is ready to face virtually anything. In addition, the Pajama Party has plan to throw multiple events including the upcoming Beverly Hills Slumber Party that appears to be a fun and rambunctious time, not including an ounce of sleep until past midnight. In an interview between a correspondent from The Daily Jammie and Frank Fusco, Pajama Party campaign manager, he praised the energetic quality of the party. We have a relentless driving spirit that fuels our initiative. It sparks excitement in the political scene that hasnt prevailed in quite some time, continued Mr. Fusco enthusiastically. It seems that with a good nights sleep and a large cup of coffee for breakfast, the Pajama Party will start the day off right and put the issues of America to rest. By Kelsey Miller
A disputable issue in todays society is the economy. Americas economy is struggling under the current system, and many Americans have lost their jobs and homes. The Pajama Party supports an economic system that will lift America out of this economic recession that has been plaguing the country. Katherine and the Pajama Party support three solutions to the nations economic struggles. The party proposes tax reformations, increasing the cost of negative automations, and decreasing the cost of healthy necessities. These reformations propose a healthier economy that would be more beneficial to all Americans. Katherine understands the daily struggles of citizens who live in such a harsh economy. She has traveled from city to city, listening to the complaints and concerns of her supporters. Using these words of the people, Katherine and the Pajama Party have been able to come up with a plan that would benefit America and improve the economic conditions that have caused so many to struggle. The Pajama Party wants nothing more than to create a better economy for America, and therefore, better living and job conditions for its citizens. As president, Katherine will enforce her economic policies and help create a society that all Americans will benefit from. Abortion is a topic that is hotly debated throughout America. Massive polarization has resulted from Americans adamantly supporting their position. Katherine and the Pajama Party recognize that this issue is something that should be taken seriously, and the party provides some regulations as to how abortion should work in society. Katherine supports a womans right to choose what to do with her body. As a woman herself, Katherine has a connection with the women of America, who all undergo the stresses of being a woman in todays society. Being a mother of two, Katherine understands the time-consuming job of being a mother. It takes a lot of time, money, and effort, and if a woman cannot provide that for her child, then she should have the right to abort. Not only is it a difficult situation to be in, but such a predicament should be private to the lives of the woman and her family. The Pajama Party believes that an abortion should be conducted within the first trimester of the pregnancy. This gives the woman enough time
to decide what she would like to do with her own body in such a trying situation. Katherine Wang is a woman with two children, and she can truly connect with the women struggling in such situations. The Pajama Party and their candidate, Katherine Wang, provide reliable and resourceful solutions to Americas struggles. Katherine is well prepared regarding all aspects of debate and controversy, and the party is a force to be trusted with. By Emily Acquavita
and usage of nuclear weapons around the world to completely prevent a horrific disaster and make the world a safer place. The Pickle Party believes that we should continue our production of weapons of mass destruction for self defense and feel if a country is deemed unfit to possess a weapon of such magnitude; it should be stripped from them immediately. Katherine strongly disagrees with this approach because she feels if America continues our production of nuclear weapons, we will set a terrible example for other countries. Also she believes that if nuclear weapons were completely abolished, the world would be a much safer and friendly place. While the Pickle Party rightfully wants to further economic growth just like the Pajama Party, they lack in organization and planning to achieve their economic goals. The Pickle Party intends on leaving power to the people, keeping industries at home instead of outsourcing them, and investing in our countrys capital and infrastructure. While there is no real fault with these plans, the question is where is the change? All of these economic choices that Reilly Eldredge, the Pickle Partys presidential candidate, proposes cannot compare to the clear-cut and effective Three Part Monetary Plan of the Pajama Party. By implementing a specific tax reformation, increasing costs of negative automations, and decreasing costs of healthy necessities, the Pajama Party not only represents a better economy for our nation, but also represents the healthy ideals that Katherine Wang holds for our citizens. These ideals directly correlate with the idea of sleeping and staying healthy; hence the name of our party. In what way do pickles relate to Reilly Eldredges plan for the economy? The only connection thats clear to me is how sour the economic future is if the Pickle Party somehow ends up in office. As far as foreign policy goes, Eldredges plan for action only revolves around the Middle East. Katherine Wang agrees; we should remove our soldiers and presence from the Middle East,
thus putting a focus on improving domestic status. At the same time we would be creating peace by allowing Middle Eastern nations to have self-determination and also by supporting Israel as allies. However, this is not MiddleEastern policy were discussingthis is foreign policy. Katherine Wang agrees with Eldredge in those cases, but cant help but add on more. To the Pajama Party its important to maintain diplomacy with all nations in all scenarios. The term Forward Engagement can be used to describe our approach. Not only does the party know how to peacefully and easily handle situations that pose a threat to our country, but also when other countries are in need our WE HELP organization is to the rescue. Finally, Katherine values the relationships and allies America has with nations all across the world. Her focus on all nations rather than just the Middle East shows her foreign policy exceeds the plans the Pickle Party has in place. Thus far, Eldredge and Wang have not had huge differences in their beliefs, but the contrast starts with the health care and drug policy. The Pickle Party does not believe in nationalized health care or the legalization of illegal drugs. However, the Pajama Party is aiming for universal health care with the WE CARE program that guarantees essential health benefits, a plan that will be no extra cost. As far as drugs go, if they can assist someone medically and are prescribed by a doctor or pharmacist, then they are only for the peoples benefit. Eldredge may not want health for all Americans or legalization of drugs for a medical purpose, but Katherine Wang wants a completely healthy America where all can access the health care they want and if need be, can have certain drugs prescribed. Unlike the contrast in the health care and drug policy, when it comes to abortion both the Pajama Party and Pickle party are pro choice. However, Eldredge only states hell work towards legalizing abortion and setting up appropriate facilities, while Katherine Wang has a plan. This plan includes trimester regulations about when the abortion can and cannot occur and a Center of Assistance for Abortions (CAA). From the platforms of these candidates, it is apparent that there are differences between Reilly and Katherine. By Alicia Gray & Josh MacNiven
ensure that the safety of the woman is taken care of. With that as the main priority safe clinics will be set up to aid the needs of women faced with this decision. In respect to Green Technology, the Eagle Party has the belief that they should minimize their dependence on other countries. They also support incentives for Americans in return for investments in green technology, attempting to increase funding towards these types of new energy resources. Austin Beaudoin and Katherine Wang share the belief that campaign spending has been a topic of concern for the past years. They both support the admirable belief that there should be some type of cap placed on placed on individual donations and donations from corporations, which could attempt to prevent any corruption within the campaigning process. We both recognize the serious danger that nuclear weapons present, and propose a policy that prevents from an nuclear production on American soil. Both the Pajama and the Eagle Party understand the importance of a peace treaty, which can drastically reduce the risk of any type of nuclear related issues for our fair country. These facts of the platform for this years presidential election demonstrate an unbiased breakdown and comparison of the important stances in this years election. By Frank Fusco & Chris Mullen
