Item BOTTLED WATER Checklist Remarks Six litres of water per person per day for at least three days, for drinking and sanitation In case of power outage and when evacuating in dark conditions For tuning in to national emergency broadcasts For powering the torchlight and radio. Pack extra batteries in vacuum pack and do not fit them into the devices until required, as leaving them there may result in leakage For any existing medical condition you and your family may have. Also bring along general medication, eg. Panadol eg. NRIC, passport, insurance policies etc. For administrative purposes should the original documents be lost or destroyed in an emergency Used to call for help or alert others To treat any injuries along the way. A small kit containing some first aid dressing, antiseptic wipes, plasters and bandages will be enough Do not forget your charger Preferably in small denominations Consider other special care items too, eg, for your pets For reference on basic first aid and civil defence procedures
