On February 15th, 2014 from 10am to 6pm, St. John the Compassionate Mission will host an all-day retreat with Archimandrite Zacharias on the theology of Saint Silouan the Athonite and Elder Sophrony of Essex. Father Zacharias is a monk at the Monastery founded by Elder Sophrony, where he serves as a disciple of Elder Sophrony, who was himself a disciple of Saint Silouan. All are invited to attend the retreat and RSVPs can be sent to the provided email address.

Mission on February 15th, 2014 from 10am-6pm for day
retreat with Fr. Zacharias of Essex.

A disciple of Elder Sophrony (of blessed memory), who was a disciple of St.
Silouan the Athonite. Presently, Fr. Zacharias is a monk in the Monastery
founded by Elder Sophrony: The Patriarchal Stavropegic Monastery of St. John
the Baptist, Tolleshunt Knights by Maldon, Essex, England.
