Easy French Toast Casserole

Serves: 8 Preparation Time: 10 min Chilling Time: 1 hr Cooking Time: 50 min Ingredients

1 loaf of Pepperidge Farm Cinnamon Swirl Bread, cut into cubes 6 eggs 3 cups milk 2 teaspoons vanilla extract confectioners' sugar, to taste maple-flavored syrup (optional)

Instructions 1. Place the bread cubes into a greased 3-quart shallow baking dish. 2. Beat the eggs, milk and vanilla extract in a medium bowl with a fork or whisk. 3. Pour the milk mixture over the bread cubes. Stir and press the bread cubes into the milk mixture to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight. 4. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Uncover the baking dish. 5. Bake for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with the confectioners' sugar. Serve with the syrup, if desired.
