Steps for downloading JDK and Netbeans Bundle

Step 1: Go to the below link


http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

Step 2:
Click on download ‘JDK6 update 16 with Netbeans 6.7.1

Step 3: Click on continue button.


Step 4:
A login information is asked. Please click on ‘Skip this step’.
Step 5: This information appears if you do not have JDK/JRE installed on your
computer. Don’t worry!

To the left side bottom of the page, it asks you to save JDK or discard it. Click on
save.

Step 5: After successful installation of JDK, you will see the below.
Step 6: Click on the link below.

You see something like the below screenshot as you have seen previously while
installing JDK.
click on save.

Step 7: Go to the below link in your computer i.e ‘C:\Documents and Settings\My
Documents\Downloads
You should see a JDK installer exe file. Upon clicking that you will see the below
screenshot.

click on run.
Step 8:

Step 9: Click on ‘Next’.


Step 10: Click on next.

Step 11:
click on next.
Step 12: Click on ‘Next’.

Step 12: Click on ‘Install’.


While installation you see below screenshot.

Step 13:
Click on finish.

After clicking on ‘finish’ button, you get a screen where in you have to register for
Netbeans IDE. Just don’t do anything there.
Go to your desktop and you see your Netbeans IDE shortcut, where in you click it
and do your first program ‘Hello world!’
