Installation of flixo
The installation using Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 requires Administrator privileges! The installation of flixo will be done: Automatically on inserting the CD/DVD Choose the context menu item Install flixo 5 or Launch the program flixo\setup.exe on the installation CD

Hardware and Software-Requirements


For successfully working with flixo some software requirements must be satisfied . flixo is based on the latest runtime library of Microsoft, which is installed normally on the PC - if there are problems please install the runtime library from Microsoft (see below). As well the software is protected by a copy protection key. Without this always connected key flixo doesnt run at all. You find the installers of both components on teh CD: : Installer of the copy protection driver in the folder Aladdin: Hldrv32.exe is an older version with a graphic user interface, the current command line based you find in hardlock_driver_cmdline5_55. Installer of Microsofts runtime library in the folder Microsoft : Vcredist_x86.exe is the 32bit version and Vcredist_x64.exe the 64bit version.

First Usage of flixo


If you are new to flixo, we suggest studying the tutorials first. The tutorials can be found in the online help or can be activated directly from the Tutorial submenu in the Help menu. The online manual as a pdf-file is copied during the installation process (see c:\program files\infomind\flixo 6\help\flixo manual.pdf).
