Must allocate all firing ships and targets before calculating hits. Roll to straddle target, then calculate damage. Two ships firing at same target -1 Not broadside Smoke obscuring target +1 Target crippled (Main vs BB, OB, BC, HC,CA only) (Secondary battery for use vs HC, CA, LC and DD only.) Torpedoes Attack as per main combat -1 target not broadside +2 target crippled +1 Target Major damage Air Combat Done by flights. Come into play as per scenario rules Match up CAP to attackers. Any escort not matched attacks CAP first. D6 + CF CF: F= 3/4, DB, LB, TB = 2 Win = 1Hit, Double = Driven off. Surviving Bombers can attack targets after AA fire AA Fire 1D6 per factor. 6 == hit Attack values DB 4 LB 3 (-hits) . TB as per torpedo attack. Damage Effects Damage If target straddled, compare D6+AV against D6+DV. Apply damage as below 1 Minor No effect Totals are equal 2 vs DD, CL or TT vs ships Turn away 2 Moderate -1 all combat, speed Target beaten Increase damage level by 1 for gunnery and 2 for TT. 3 Major -2 Target doubled Increase damage level by 2 for gunnery. Ships crippled by TT. 4 Crippled No combat / move Repair 6 on a D6 to reduce damage level by 1 5 SUNK
