FABRICATION OF MECHANICAL CAN CRUSHER

ABSTRACT:
Mechanical engineering without production and manufacturing is meaningless and
inseparable. Production and manufacturing process deals with conversion of raw materials
inputs to finished products as per required dimensions specifications and efficiently using
recent technology

Objective& scope
Can crusher is used to crush the can in very high speed, it more suitable for plastic
re usable industries ,in these industries the crushed can are dumped in a heavy mask and
send to the furnace for melting so this crushing process is carried in this machine which is
fabricated by our self
WORKING OPERATION:
The total structure is made of mild steel frames in which all the parts are assembled over
it. the machine consist of crank shaft, connecting rod ,slider block, plumer block,
motor ,male die and female, when a motor is switched ON the power is transmitted from
motor to crank shaft via belt , so when crank shaft rotates the connecting rod will up and
down and crushes the can automatically.

ADVANTAGES
It reduces the burden of the worker
It is easy to operate
stock length is adjustable

DISADVANTAGES
It is used for mass crushing only
Runs at constant speed
