night cycle. You may also do additional research. You can use GALILEO kids or
other creditable sources. As you are researching, collaborate with other
students about the day and night cycle by using Blogger and post at least one
fact on Padlet. Create a Wordle with your group. After you have thoroughly
studied the day and night cycle, explore the four Web 2.0 tools I have provided
under the Materials & Resources tab. You may use another Web 2.0 tool if you do not
prefer the ones I have provided. Then, begin your presentation. Please review
the rubric for the presentation criteria.

Your presentation must include:

1. Identify that the day and night cycle are caused by the Earths rotation
and not by the Sun.
2. Explain the differences and similarities in the day and night sky.
3. Describe what happens to the sky in a 24 hour cycle.
4. Show evidence of why its light outside during the day and dark outside
during the night.
5. Justify why we dont see stars during the day and where they go.
6. Explain why the temperature falls at night when we dont get warmth
from the Sun.

Why dont we see the stars during the day? Where do they go?
Why should we use a variety of resources to explore more information?
Why isnt just one article enough?
How can we use technology to represent what we know?
