Objective: to create a scrapbook consisting of the
information contained in your text.
TITLE PAGE: includes the title of the book, the author, and an illustration.
(this can be your cover)
SETTING PAGE: includes pictures of and from the setting(s) of your book.
NEEDS TO DEPICT TIME AND PLACE
SUMMARY PAGE: Summarize the main ideas from the text you read. Must
include illustrations from the actual story or information
TEXT FEATURES PAGE: List the types of text features that were in your
book. Select one example and recreate it on this page. (Headings,
subheadings, graphs, maps, bold words, italics, images, captions etc)
SOMETHING ABOUT THE AUTHOR PAGE:Find out a little something
about the author (birth date, where he/she lives, family, other books,
awards, etc.) *This may be located in your book or you may need to look it up
on the internet. Include a picture of the author and other pictures to
support you writing.
OTHER BOOKS YOU MIGHT LIKE PAGE: Research 5 other
books/magazines to suggest to people who enjoyed this book. List the book/
magazine and author. Include pictures of the covers of these other texts.
THE MOST INTERESTING PART PAGE; Write about the most
interesting thing you learned from reading this book and explain why you felt
this way. (cite textual evidence with page numbers) Create an illustration for
