The Evolution Hydraulic Setting Tool is a pressure-activated
setting tool used to set wireline retrievable plugs, permanent
packers, bridge plugs, cement retainers or other types of
completionequipment.Thesettingtoolisconnectedtotheend
ofthecoiledtubingandruntodepth.Pressuringupthetubing
stringactivatesthehydraulicpistons.Theforcemultipliesasthe
pressurepassesthrougheachpistonstage,providingtheneeded
forcetosetthedownholeequipment.Oncetheequipmentisset,
the ports of the setting tool are open, allowing the well to be
pressuretestedorcirculatedandprovidingpressureequalization
ofthetubing/annuluspriortoretrievalofthetubingstring.
TheEvolutionHydraulicSettingToolcomeswithallthepartsyou
need,includingbotha23/8EUEanda27/8EUEtopconnection.
Eithercanbeused.TheHydraulicsettingtoolalsocomeswitha
Baker10 and Baker 20 adaptor. Along with four pressure
cylindersthatallowformultiplepressureset-ups,weprovidethe
entire package in this setting tool so you have what you need
basedonthejobyouaredoing.
