Geumseong (/) ) is a South Korean multinational conglomerate


corporation. It is the fourth-largest chaebol in South Korea. A chaebol is an entity
owning numerous international enterprises,[2] controlled by a chairman who has
power over all the operations.[2][3] The term is often used in a context similar to
that of the English word "conglomerate". It is headquartered in the LG Twin
Towers building in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.[4] LG makes
electronics, chemicals, and telecom products and operates subsidiaries such as
LG Electronics, Zenith, LG Display, LG Telecom and LG Chem in over 80
countries.
