Dear Parents and Carers,

Timetables across the school have now been finalised. Please find an outline of our
weekly activities below. We have put it at the bottom of the page so you can cut it
off and pop it on your notice board or fridge. On the reverse we have included a list
of the order in which we introduce the alphabet letters in Kindergarten. Encourage
your child to learn the letters by playing letter/sound games such as I Spy ,
Treasure Hunting objects beginning with a certain letter, finding a given letter in a
jumble of magnetic letters etc. Children love these games and they help to reinforce
their learning.

Some parents have asked about helping in the classroom. We really value your help
and will send a note home in the next couple of weeks highlighting areas we really
appreciate your assistance. We allow the children a couple of weeks to settle in to
their class before we introduce parent helpers.
