Measure the individual phase-earth insulation


resistance (with 500V/ insulation tester). All the
three reading shall be > 1.5 M.
Availability of Main power supply and control
supply
Ensure all logics and protections are in service
Remove permit and DO NOT OPERATE
board from the feeder.
Put LOCAL/OFF/REMOTE selector switch in
LOCAL or REMOTE position. As per operation
requirement
Rack in the breaker/ Feeder
Switch ON control power MCB
Ensure After switching ON DC control supply
ensure Relay is in healthy condition and Breaker
Spring is charged
Ensure OFF indication on feeder is glowing.
Give Clearance for Switch ON the feeder from
DCS/LOCAL for Upstream breaker.
After Switch ON Upstream breaker. Check the
Voltage in various phases and record
Check the noise or any other abnormality
Give Clearance for Switch ON the feeder from
DCS/LOCAL for breaker.
After Switch ON breaker. Check the Voltage
