Introduction: Good afternoon! Today we will begin working on measures 50-75 of La
Comparsa. You will have a short time to work on this individually and in groups before we
play this as an ensemble.
Procedure:
The teacher will instruct the students to learn and practice measures 50-75 of La
Comparsa for 20 minutes.
During the rehearsal the teacher will address the following issues/sections
o Section B guitar 2: Phrasing
o Section C, guitar 1, measure 60-65 Staccato notes.
o Section C, guitars 1-4, m.73-75 ritardando
o Section C to the end, guitar 1 and 3 syncopated rhythms
Teacher will lead the class in playing the remaining concert repertoire.

Good job! Make sure to practice and write in the right hand fingerings and rhythm counts!
