Resetting an iPad
A student must reset their district issued iPad before leaving a T&L Beta
classroom. This will also occur at the end of the school year for all students.

Backup
If the user has data on the iPad that should be kept, be sure it has been backed
up to Collab or iCloud.

Resetting the iPad

1. Open Setting
2. Select General, scroll down to Reset.

3. Select Erase All Content and

Settings.
4. When prompted enter the 4-digit
passcode for the iPad.
5. If prompted, enter the iCloud
password (same as Apple ID
password). This happens if Find
my iPad is enabled.
6. A warning that all data and
setting will be erased is
displayed. Touch Erase.
7. Once the iPad restarts the iPad has been successfully erased.
