This document provides instructions for making a Celtic knot trinket box, including a bill of materials and cutting diagrams. The box walls are cut from a single 1-inch thick blank and then sanded so the interior wall fits smoothly inside the exterior wall. A 1/4-inch thick bottom piece has the interior wall centered and glued to it. A 1/8-inch thick piece is also glued to the bottom of the lid to allow it to sit centered on the box bottom.

Celtic Knot Trinket Box.

Top
1/4 Thick

Box walls cut from one blank


1 inch thick. After you cut and
separate the walls sand the interior
wall until it ts smoothly inside the
exterior wall.

Bottom 1/4 Thick.


Glue the interior wall centered
to this piece.

1/8 Thick.
Glue to the bottom of the lid.
Make sure its centered on the
lid so the lid will sit on the bottom
without interference.
