County and more. Brainstorm, plan, create and execute strategy and contesting for all accounts. Monitor in
SproutSocial or native platform system for mentions and analytics.
Plan, create, monitor and execute strategy and posts for WhiteSpace Creatives Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and
Instagram. Coordinate WhiteSpace Creatives public relations efforts surrounding awards and CreateAthon.
Lead social media and public relations trend research for the agency, ensuring relevancy within the agency.
Created several manuals for clients about social media channels, paid campaigns and how to use them.
Created three public relations plans for Hartville Pet Insurance Group/ASPCA Pet Health Insurance, including a
reputation management and general communications audit with recommendations. Currently, work with each
entity to pitch news and information to key outlets. Provide press releases, media alerts and recommendations

Manage public relations efforts including press release needs and planning for Akron Marathon, Cleveland

Write and research quarterly newsletters and website updates for Akron City: Biomedical Corridor, Akron Global
Water Alliance and Bock & Clark.
Planned and executed planning for the Knight Foundations Knight Arts Challenge including grassroots planning
and outreach in Akron, press releases, media interviews and ad buys. Obtained more than 500 entries.
Manage public relations interns and any student shadowing efforts for public relations. Oversee daily task

Publicity/Promotions Coordinator, Allied-THA (December 2011 - August 2013)
Handled promotions and publicity in Ohio and Upstate New York for Universal Studios Home Entertainment,
Sony Pictures Classics, Sony Pictures (Columbia), IFC, LD Entertainment and RADiUS. Planned and coordinated
press screenings and advance screenings, worked with press members to place reviews.
Head on all Universal Studios Home Entertainment campaigns by informing press, setting up promotions with
media partners, planning and executing events and promotions. Served as the national contact for one month
while lead was on maternity leave.
Planned, executed and maintained social media campaigns and contests on five Facebook and Twitter pages
including Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Albany and Buffalo. Managed an Ohio Twitter handle as part of Allied
Faith & Family.
Researched and pitched targeted bloggers for Whole Foods, Scholastic and other clients.
