The color palettes chosen are of a grunge style to fit the target audience for a grunge-themed magazine, while grunge is often dull there are some vibrant colors that stand out. Although authenticity is important, the colors used have a 90s feel and work well together without clashing as grunge thrived in the 1990s.

The colour palettes I

have chosen are not


very similar concerning
the colours however
they are all of a grunge
style which fits my
target audience
perfectly as I aim to
create a grunge
themed magazine.
Although grunge is
noted for being almost
dull, there are some
vibrant colours that
stand out and will look
appealing to the target
audience. Although
authenticity is
important it is also
important to make it
look appealing. The
colours I have used all
have a nighties feel to
them, which is
important because the
nineties was when
grunge thrived. In each
scheme I have used
colours that work well
together that do not
clash but instead
compliment each other.
