Working Conditions
There are no regular hours for
magicians. The amount of work
they get can be unpredictable, so
even successful magicians try to
take on as many contracts as they
can. This means they can work
days and even nights in some part
of the year, including during
holidays, and have very little work
at other times.

Salary
Magicians just starting can give a
show just to gain experience,
accepting whatever cash they give
them as a tip. Those with a little
experience and reputation can start
gaining between $50 and $150 per
show depending on how long the
show is and the size of the audience.
