Need & Importance of Environmental Education at Primary, Seconda Ry and Higher Secondary Level

Environmental education is needed at all levels to create awareness about environmental issues and motivate students to protect the environment. At the primary level, it involves exposing children to nature through visits to gardens and avoiding single-use plastic. At secondary level, it includes activities like gardening, tree planting, and waste management projects. At higher secondary level, students participate in seminars, symposiums, workshops and eco-clubs to further analyze environmental problems and solutions. The goal is to educate students about their environment and encourage active involvement in protection efforts from a young age.

discomfort begins
Root of all human suffering is that
man is not aware of the need to
establish harmony with his environment

important segment within the education
system
Environmental education has a single, clearly
defined , but multi-faceted object :Envt crisis
Envt
learning
is
learning
about
the
factors, causes and solutions to the envt crisis
We need the
school children to share and
develop the motivation from school about
various envt issues which are the challenges
of today and prepare them for future
It is needed to create a better awareness

Awareness would lead to active

involvement in envt protection projects
Envt education is needed to make the
young and adult members to take
appropriate step to protect the envt
