Introduction
On-line Exam System is very useful for Educational Institute to
prepare an exam, save the time that will take to check the paper
and prepare mark sheets. Students can give exams and view their
results. This is an attempt to remove the existing flaws in the
manual system of conducting exams.
The effective use of "On-line Exam System" is that teachers can
put their for getting better results in less time.

the hectic job of assessing the answers given by the candidates
manually. The manual process of evaluating is very time
consuming. Also it is difficult to keep the answer sheets being
generated as well as the maintenance of the record of each
examination. The chance of loss of records is high and record
searching is difficult. Result processing takes more time and the
presence of more invigilators is a must if there are more number
of students to write the exam.

2. Analysis of the System


2.1 Objectives of the proposed system
The main purpose of the system is to efficiently evaluate the
candidate thoroughly through a fully automated system that not
only saves a lot of time but also gives fast results. It is a costeffective and popular means of mass- evaluation system.
The teacher prepares the tests and questions for each exam. The
candidates can login with their user id and password given to
them and can take the exam. A timer will monitor the time and
after the time limit the system itself submit the test. If it is before
time, candidates can submit it to view their result. The result
analysis is very easy as it is done by the system. So it saves a lot
of time since no manual correction is needed in the system.

2.2 Scope
Online Exam system is designed for Educational Institute
(like school, university and training center etc.).
The system handles all the operation and generates reports
as soon as the test is finish.
