Notes :
1) By cooling water requirement it is meant sum of condenser cooling water flow and flow in the
auxiliary cooling water circuit.
2) Pumps shall be capable of operating from shut-off point to a maximum flow of 10% over the
point intersection between system resistance curve and pump H-Q curve for single pump
operation
3) The CW Pump & Motor shall be capable of reverse rotation due to back flow of water during
pump
tripping for a short period.
4) Channel design shall be as per HIS or BHRA standard
