Professional Objectives
Objective 1: To raise awareness about various executive functioning disabilities as
well as emotional distress felt by children and young adults

Research educational sites geared toward children who have attention
and/or behavioral issues

Evidence:
Create a power point documenting useful information to help parents and
children

Objective 2: The steps necessary to properly test and diagnose a client in a Clinical
office setting

Activities/Resources:
Take down the clients information
Score psychological tests
Insurance billing and co-pay
Collection of evaluations done by parents/teachers
Observation made when clients come to the office

Evidence:
Create a case study
Use of anonymous test results
Background history
Diagnosis and possible treatment options based on findings
Interpret findings

Internship Details

Duties Include: Providing assistance in an Clinical office setting, answering clients


questions about services offered and completing projects pertaining to the
education and welfare of children and their families. Promoting the importance of
technology in the development of a childs life.

Evaluation Methods: Weekly updates with my supervisor to discuss the
progression of my projects.

Expected Work Schedule:


Hours: 8 hrs/wk
Tuesday: 8:00 am-12:00pm
Thursday: 1:00pm-5:00pm
