To whom it may concern:

I am writing to highly recommend Patience Bekoe for a RN position in your facility.
I had the pleasure of teaching Patience at Tucson Medical Center during her adult
medical/surgical and orthopedic rotations during the Fall 2014 semester, as well as in
the didactic portion of her second semester of nursing school at the University of
Arizona. Patience is a very hardworking student who strives for success. She is a selfmotivated and dependable student.
As a professional, Patience was always on time, dressed professionally, and
ready to care for her patients and their families to the best of her ability. Patience was
able to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of patients in our short time
together. Her ability to establish rapport with adult patients, families and visitors will aid
her greatly in her future career.
Patience was able to partake in two alternative experiences while under my
watch. These took place in the womens operating room and the emergency
department. Both of these experiences helped to broaden Patiences skills and
excitement. She was able to take valuable information from both of these areas, and
apply it to her studies and helped to deepen her understanding of holistic patient care.
While caring for post-operative patients in the orthopedic unit and the medical/surgical
unit, it was evident that Patience was able to apply her newly learned skills to effectively
care for her patients.
Some of the skills that Patience was able to practice under my supervision
included: full physical assessments, sterile technique, NG tube insertion, enteral and
parenteral medication administration, IV insertion, IVPB, IM/SQ injections, and Foley
care and removal. Her desire to learn paired with her skills demonstrated during her
adult rotation will make her a great asset to your facility.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require further information about Patience
Bekoe.
