004 Defect Radar Furuno STBD Side

1. The starboard side Furuno 21" radar on the MV.SETIA EMAS was occasionally not detecting targets within range during a sail out to the Buhaseer Oilfield. 2. The defect was investigated onboard and suspected to be caused by a magnetron that needed renewal. 3. Switching the radar off and on again for 5 minutes did not reproduce the issue, and the scanner was found to be satisfactory, so the defect was not able to be repaired onboard. Further action through a work order request was required.
