1. ALL DIMENSIONS ARE IN mm.


2. CORROSION PROTECTION AND PAINTING TO BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH
PROJECT SPECIFICATION.
3. WELDING, TOLERANCES, FABRICATION AND INSPECTION TO BE IN
ACCORDANCE WITH PROJECT SPECIFICATION.
4. STATED DIMENSIONS DO NOT ACCOUNT FOR SHRINKAGE DUE TO
WELDING AND DO NOT ACCOUNT FOR PRE-OPENING FOR WELDING.
5. ALL DIMENSION RELATED TO EXISTING VESSEL TO BE
VERIFIED BY SURVEY.
6. IN THE WELDING AREA ALL PAINT AND RUST TO BE REMOVED FROM
THE STRUCTURE BEFORE WELDING.
7. SHARP EDGES HAVE TO BE ROUNDED.
8. WELD SYMBOLS ARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH AWS D1.1 LATEST EDITION.
9. UNLESS INDICATED OTHERWISE:
-FILLET WELDS SHALL BE CONTINUOUS AND CARRIED AROUND
THE END OF MATERIALS; BUTT WELDS SHALL BE CONTINUOUS AND
COMPLETE PENETRATION.
-CHAMFERS WITH A 1:4 SLOPE ARE REQUIRED AT BUTT WELDS WHERE
THE STEP IN THICKNESS IS GREATER THAN 3mm U.N.O.
