Tower Grove Neighborhood
Traffic Study - Recommendations
ABOUT THE STUDY.
In conjunction with 15TH Ward Alderwoman Megan Green, and the City of St. Louis, CBB completed a neighborhood traffic
study with the goal of enhancing traffic and pedestrian safety. The result of the study is a plan that includes
recommendations for reducing traffic volumes and speeds on local streets and improves pedestrian safety. CBB has
developed initial recommendations based on public engagement (neighborhood meeting, and survey), data collection, field
observations, and input from the Alderwoman. This handout includes recommendations in the form of an area wide map,
as well as by specific location. Also included, are examples of these recommendations.
AREA WIDE RECOMMENDATIONS MAP.
The map below demonstrates area wide recommendations. Additionally, CBB has developed a four-phased approach to
these recommendations that is outlined by specific location improvements on the following pages.
RECOMMENDATIONS BY SPECIFIC LOCATION.

Gustine Avenue was indicated as a primary area of concern for the neighborhood. Because this corridor is an area
