Purpose
To provide information on recent qualification test
results and availability of a previously developed
FLEXPACKER-NR packer for the 7-1/16-10,000 psi
Cameron U BOP.

Test Procedure
tests were conducted on the smallest size pipe in the
API 16A 2nd Edition, Appendix B, Fatigue test -
packer range and the other half were conducted on
546 closures including 78 rated pressure test on the
the largest size pipe in the packer range.

Results

Notes:
1. FLEXPACKER-NR packers are molded using CAMLAST
elastomer. This elastomer compound has been successfully
tested for extended periods of time in the 13-5/8-10,000
psi FLEXPACKER-NR at 200 F. This CAMLAST elastomer
compound has also been exposed to H2S levels up to 35%
in drilling applications without failure.
