Azhagazhaga poi sonnen,
Pethavale un perumai,
Otha vari sollalaye..
Kaathu ellam magal paathu,
Kayithathil aval ezhuthu,
Ooru ellam magal pechi,
Unn keerthi ezhuthalaye...
Ezhuthavo padikkavo,
Iyalaatha thaai bhakthi,
Ezhuthi enna laabam enu,
Ezhuthaame poneno...
Ponnaya theivam petha ponne kula magale,
Amma,
Ennai puram thalla iduppu vali poruthavale...
Vairamuthu pirappa nu vayithril nee
sumanthathu illai,
Vayithril nee sumantha onnu
Vairamuthu
ayiruchu...
Kannu kathu mookodu karuppa oru pindam,
Idapakkam kidaikkayila nee enna enna
ninaichiruppe...
Kathi eduppavalo, Kalavaana piranthavalo,
Tharani aala vanthirukkum,
Thasildar ival thaano...
Intha vivaranggal ethu onnum theriyaamal,
Nenju ooty valatha unnai,
Nenucha azhuga varum....
Kadha kadhanu kali kindi,
Kalikulla kuli vetti,
Karupetti nalla ennai kalanthu tharuvaaye...
Thondaiyile athu iranggum sugamaana ilam

Kathirikkai nei vadiyum,
Karuvaadu theen olugum...
Kozhi kolambu mela kutti kutti methakkum,
Thenga chilukkum thegam ellam echi urum...
Varumai illa naama patta vali thaanga
madhame,
Pena eduthen piranbanjam pichu erinjen...
Paasam ulla velaiyile,
Kaasu panam kudaliye,
Kaasu paanam serum bothu,
Paasam vanthu seralaye...
Anju aaru varudham unn aasai mugam
paarkame,
Pullai manam pithu aachu,
Petha manam kallu achu....
Padippu padichikitte,
Panam anuppi vecha magal,
Kai vida madhal ennu kadaisi varai
nambaliye...
Paasam,
Kanner,
Pazhaya kathai,
Ellame veruchu odi ponaa,
Vedhantham ayiruchu...
Vaigai illa uru muzhaga,
Vallorum serthu ezhutha,
Kai pidiye kuthi vanthu,
Kara serthu vidhavale....
Enakku onnu anathuna unakku veru pillai

Unakku ethum aanathuna enakku veru thaai
