ball): Large Throw: 4 balls colour No. 3173 pink or
5 balls in print shades.
Baby Blanket: 2 balls colour No. 3173 pink or 3
balls in print shades.
Crochet Hook: 5 mm [US H-8].
Yarn sewing needle.
TENSION: 16 sts = 10 cm (4"); 10 rows = 10 cm
(4") in pat. CHECK YOUR TENSIONS. Use any
size hook to obtain the TENSION.

THROW
Ch 193 (137).
Row 1 (Right Side): Dc in 4th ch from hook and in
each ch across; turn 191 (135 sts).
Row 2: Ch 2, skip first dc; dc around the post of
next st from the front fpdc made; fpdc around
next dc; dc around the post of next st from the back
bpdc made; * fpdc around each of next 3 dc, bpdc
around next dc; rep from * to last 3 sts; fpdc around
each of next 2 dc, dc in top of ch; turn.
Row 3: Ch 2, skip first dc, dc in next 2 sts, * fpdc
around next st, dc in next 3 sts; rep from * across
working last dc in top of ch; turn.
Row 4: Ch 2, skip first dc, fpdc around each of next
2 sts, bpdc around next st,
* fpdc around each of next 3 sts, bpdc around next
st; rep from * to last 3 sts; fpdc around each of next
2 sts, dc in top of ch; turn.
Rep Rows 3 and 4 until approximately 165 cm (65)
86.5 cm (34)" from beg, end row 4. Fasten off.
Weave in ends.

Large throw measures approximately 122 cm x


165 cm (48" x 65"); baby blanket measures
approximately 86.5 cm x 86.5 cm (34" x 34").
