Piney Woods

The Piney Woods Boer Breeders Club will host a Boer goat show on August 16, 2008 at the Rusk County Youth Exposition Center in Henderson, Texas. There will be two ABGA sanctioned shows held back to back, with John Edwards judging the first show starting at 9AM and Jackie Edwards judging the second. Pens are available under a pavilion barn, though multiple animals may need to be penned together due to space limitations. Entry fees are $15 per goat if entering both shows or $20 per show for a single show. Check-in is Friday evening from 6-10PM or Saturday morning from 7-8AM. Contact information is provided for the show secretary and club secretary

Two ABGA Sanctioned Shows on one day

Rusk County Youth Exposition Center.....


Located on Texas Farm Road 13 outside the loop.
Henderson, Texas

Show 1 starts at 9AM with John Edwards as judge


Show 2 follows with Jackie Edwards as judge

Show ring and spectator viewing is air conditioned.


Pens are located under adjoining pavillion barn.
Many of the pens are big enough for two large does or 3 to 4 young
animals......multiple penning of animals will be required where possible.
NO tack pens are available. Large concrete grooming area with multiple
wash rack outlets

Entry special: If you enter both shows it will be $15.00 per entry per
show. If you enter only one show it will be $20.00 per entry. No late fees
although we do encourage early entry by August 14th.

Check in Friday evening from 6 PM to around 10 PM......I will check in on


Saturday morning between 7 and 8 AM if necessary.....
Early check in is strongly encouraged.
