+ Use a6 0V-160V DC power supply as an extemal power supply
+ When connecting the power supply to the wansceiver use an
optional DC cable for base station (EDC-37), Connect the
table tothe DC jack on the side ofthe transceiver.
+ When the power is supplied from cigarette socket of» car
use the carte lighter cable (EDC-43) or the cigarete hier
cable with filer (EDC-36). Use the eigarete lighter cable
‘ith iter (EDC-36) during mobi operation to prevent noise
+ Turm the power off when connecting or disconnecting the DC
cable.

4,2 Adjusting the Squelch
‘The squelch silences the transceiver except fr signals above a
certain level, Squelch eliminates the aoise when the transceiver
receives less than a certain level
"To unmute the squelch" means that

‘Normally, repeaters are used in duplex mode. In other words, a
signal received on one frequency i retransmitted on another
frequency. The difference between these two frequencies isthe
offset frequency. Te setting range forthe offset frequency is
from 010 99.995MHz.
