Provincial Mining Regulatory Board: Province of Davao Del Sur

The Provincial Mining Regulatory Board held their regular meeting on August 2, 2010 in Digos City, Philippines. They discussed a proposal to desilt the Inawayan River in Brgy. Quinokol. The Brgy Captain and a representative from SODACO presented the proposal. The Board decided to require additional documents from the proponents for evaluation before endorsing the project. These documents included a program of works, proposal, environmental compliance certificate, memorandum of agreement, and certification from the DPWH. The chairman also requested the PENRO conduct an inspection of the area and provide a recommendation. The meeting concluded with the Board agreeing to conduct their own ocular inspection of the site.

MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE PROVINCIAL MINING REGULATORY BOARD


HELD AT PENRO-LGU, CAPITOL COMPOUND, MATTI, DIGOS CITY, ON August 2, 2010.

Present:

Having a qourum the meeting begins at 1:30 pm with Engineer Relampagos as the
presiding officer.
ISSUES AND CONCERNS:

 The chairman also requested
the PENRO to conduct inspection of the PENRO Staff
area with a recommendation on the report

Mr. Virgilio Palanca motioned to adjourn the meeting and seconded by Crisostomo Josol but the members of the Board
agreed to conduct an ocular inspection of the site before going home.

The meeting adjourned at 3:00 in the afternoon.
