HPD Patrol Watch Log 1-16-11day

Lt. Tom Lesser was the watch commander from 0545 to 1800 hours on January 16, 2011. There was one reported domestic assault where a husband allegedly grabbed and threw his wife during an argument about divorce. The investigation was ongoing. A vehicle breaking and entering was reported where a handgun was stolen from a vehicle trunk. A motor vehicle larceny was also reported where a vehicle was stolen from an apartment parking lot overnight. Two separate reports of harassing phone calls were taken.

MAJOR CRIMES:

ARRESTS:
11016-1416-01 Domestic assault at 15620 Glen Miro Dr.
Husband and wife had been arguing over getting a divorce. The husband agreed to the divorce and reached his
hand out to shake his wife’s hand. In the process of shaking hands the wife stated that her husband grabbed her
hand and pulled her out of the chair and threw her on the couch. She then hit her face on the wooden frame of
the couch causing her to get a nose bleed. Shortly after, she responded to the hospital to be treated. While there
she complained of a nose bleed and a sore head. Detective Espinoza responded to assist the victim with the
warrant process. At this time (1700hrs) the investigation is still ongoing.

OTHER INFORMATION:
110116-1201-01 Vehicle breaking and entering at 12126 Lakehaven Dr.
Victim reports that sometime last night someone broke into the trunk of his vehicle and took a 9mm handgun.
There are no suspects in this case and the gun was entered into NCIC.

110116-1216-01 Larceny of a motor vehicle at 14535-305 Cordial Ln.


Victim reports that sometime last night someone stole his vehicle from the parking lot. The vehicle is paid for
and he has all the keys with him. We also checked to make sure it was not towed. Vehicle is a 1988 Honda
CRX, black and red in color. Vehicle was entered into NCIC.

110116-1325-01 Harassing phone calls at 12113 Tuscaloosa Rd.


Erica Altizer reported that Amanda Oxendine keeps driving by her house and harassing her. Amanda also has
been calling her on the phone and harassing Erica. Report was taken and the warrant process was explained.
11016-1347-01 Harassing phone calls at 8233 Bud Henderson Rd.
Angie Hudson reported that she has been receiving several harassing phone calls from a friend’s wife. A report
was taken and the warrant process was explained.
