JAMII BORA

Our Partner in Nairobi, Kenya

In our five years, MPA has granted $200,000 to Jamii Bora.

We have funded loans. At an average of $30, we have reached over 3,300 members.
With an average household of 6, MPA has funded hope for 20,000 through this effort.

We have also funded annual salaries for the Tumaini, the social workers who came from
the slums, succeeded with Jamii Bora, and go back to the slums to work with those in
the most extreme of situations.

Since each Tumaini brings 600 new members annually, MPA has funded hope for 30,000
through our grant. With an average household of 6, MPA’s efforts have directly
benefitted 180,000 through this effort.

And with each loan that is repaid, more loans can be made, and hope grows.
