There are many examples of a System around us, one of the
best is the Solar System which is functioning from the
commencement of this universe.
4
BASIC FUCTIONS OF A SYSTEM
INPUT:
Capturing and assembling elements that enter the system
to be processed.
PROCESSING:
Transformation process that converts input into output.
OUTPUT:
Transferring transformed elements to their ultimate
destination.

WHAT IS SUB-SYSTEM?
1. A sub-system is simply a system within a system. This means
that systems exist on more than one level and can be
composed of sub-systems or elemental parts.
2. Each component is a sub-system of the original system and
carries out a part of the system task.
Example:
The human body represents a complete natural system and
contains complex circulatory, nervous, digestive, muscle,
respiratory and bone sub-systems each providing a specific part
of the system task within the boundary.
