Transfer the Cab-O-Sil into a 12-litre tank in 5 litres of hot purified water. Position the dispersator shaft in the tank at a distance of 1/3 of diameter from the side (not centered). Mix during 45 min. at a speed of 7000 RPM. Start Finish DO NOT ALLOW the suspension staying without mixing before Step 5. Transfer the following into melter and start stirrer.

Mix Sodium Lauryl Sulfate from Step 2 with 0.500 Kg of Purified Water from Step 3 and mix until uniform. Be sure water temperature is more than 72C (160F). Start Finish Transfer gelatin into melter and mix at speed 80. Transfer cuttings into melter and keep stirring. Start Start Finish Finish Finish

Transfer the Cab-O-sil suspension from Step 3 into melter and mix for 10 minutes. Start

Continue stirring and start vacuum pump. (Minimum hour, no foam in the melter) Vacuum: 20-24 inch Hg. Start Finish

10. Release vacuum valve. 11. Add Sodium Lauryl Sulfate solution and continue stirring at speed 15 for 30 minutes. Start 12. Add 3.5 x quantity of items 1 and 2 = __________ litre of Acetic Acid and mix until uniform. 1000 Start 13. Transfer to tanks through a filter.
