CEA FEST 2012 -- Online CAD Contest

Design a multi-utility building:


Building should follow the following criteria: Basement for parking 1 recreational hall 1 food court 3 residential plan areas with 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms 3 different types of office plan areas Functional aspects of building like wind direction, ventilation etc. You can choose your own place of construction Floor area usage should be optimum

Evaluation Criteria:
For Architects:
Effective planning - 20 Report on Functional design of building - 10 Space utilization - 20 Innovativeness of built form 20 Modeling skills (Level of detail of model) 30

For Engineers:
Effective planning - 25 Report on Functional design of building - 25 Space utilization - 20 Innovativeness of built form 20 Modeling skills (Level of detail of model) 10

Files you have to submit online:


AutoCAD file of the drawings which includes plan of the floors, sections and elevations of the building A two page pdf report (mentioning the details of your team members and college) regarding the technical calculations like number of air changes, lighting requirement etc. The above two files have to be mailed to [email protected]

Rules:
No extra time will be provided. Decision of the judge is final. There should be teams of two. Deadline: 28/02/2012
