The Field Situation
- Demonstrations broke out in most Syrian governorates, demanding the departure of Al-Assad from power. Protesters staged a demonstration in front of Ghazwat Badr Mosque in the Damascus neighborhood of Al-Maidan during which they set fire to some materials to block the road. In Homs's Janub Al-Malaab district, women took part in a demonstrations organized there.
