TOP 10 BEST SELLING CARS IN INDIA The Maruti Suzuki Alto is the highest selling car in India, with

sales of 35245 units in March.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift was the second highest selling car, with sales of 20521 units. The high sales of this vehicle can be attributed to the lack of production for a few weeks last year, resulting in a huge backlog of orders.

On third spot is the Swift DZire with 16451 units, thanks to the arrival of the new model.

Another Maruti Suzuki car in the list, the Wagon R, sold 14589 units in March 2012.

The Hyundai Eon's sales are increasing as awareness about the entry level Hyundai increases. The Eon sold 12500 units last month

. Selling 11420 units, the Indica and Vista take sixth place.

The Nano has finally broken the 10000 barrier with 10475 units being sold in March, the highest for the Nano till date.

Hyundai's i10 has been overtaken by the Nano and sold 10157 units last month.

A good performer in semi-urban markets, the Bolero continues to do decent numbers with 10078 units being sold in March.

In tenth position is the Indigo and Manza, selling 8295 units for Tata Motors.
