Effective Assessment for Learning Strategies

Pupils are informed of the learning objectives, how they are learning, how they will be assessed, their current level, and how to progress to the next level. Teachers use different teaching methods for different learning styles, assess pupils through various methods, make success criteria clear and demonstrate how it's achieved, and provide clear advice on how pupils can improve. These strategies support assessment for learning but are not a definition of assessment for learning.
