There are six principles of faith in Islam Belief in Islam means 1. Belief in One God, Allah in Arabic. 2. Belief in all of God's messengers. Belief in Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) as His last messenger. 3. Belief in all the books sent down to His prophets. These books include Torah, Zabur, Injeel (Gospel) and Quran. The Holy Quran is the only divine book in extant today in the original revealed form. 4. Belief in the existence of angels. 5. Belief in the Day of Judgment, Life after Death, Heaven and Hell. 6. Belief in the Divine Decree or Predestination, its good and its bad.

Five Pillars of Islam 1. Shahadah: (I profess that) there is no god except God and (I profess that) Muhammad is the Messenger of God." 2. Salat: Salat consists of five daily prayers: Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha'a. Fajr is performed at dawn, Zuhr is a noon prayer, Asr is performed in the afternoon, Maghrib is the sunset prayer, and Isha'a is the evening prayer. Each prayer consists of a certain amount of raka . t 3. Savm: Ritual fasting is an obligatory act during the month of Ramadan 4. Zakah: alms-giving is the practice of charitable giving by Muslims based on accumulated wealth, and is obligatory for all who are able to do so. It is considered to be a personal responsibility for Muslims to ease economic hardship for others and eliminate inequality 5. The Hajj is a pilgrimage that occurs during the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah to the holy city of Mecca
